Payment
Trail Rentals welcomes payment by credit cards, cash or eftpos. We accept Visa and MasterCard. The credit card or debit card must be in the name of the authorised renter. We also accept personal cheques.
Rental Period
Rates are based on a min 24-hour rental period.
Insurance
All of our cars have full, standard insurance cover included in the daily rate. It is subject to an excess of $2,000. Please note: The renter will be fully liable for any damage to the Trail Rentals vehicle and any third party property, if the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are breached.
Accident Excess Reducer
Purchase of Accident Excess Reducer at time of hire for $12 per day to reduce the $2000 excess to $500.
Who may rent a car?
The minimum rental age is 25 years. 21 to 25 years by negotiation. All intending drivers must present a valid full national driving licence, which has been held for at least one year. A current International Driving Licence must accompany driving licences issued in a language other than English.
There is no extra charge for additional drivers.
